How to create your first pet profile

Welcome to the Pack! 🐾

Creating a profile for your pet is the first step to unlocking all of Clawmate's powerful features. Here's how to get started:

1. Go to Dashboard: Log in and navigate to your main dashboard.
2. Click "Add Pet": You'll see a large card with a "+" icon or a button in the top right corner.
3. Enter Details: We'll ask for some basic info:
   • Name: Your pet's name.
   • Species: Dog or Cat (Clawmate is optimized for these two right now!).
   • Breed: Start typing to search our database of 300+ breeds. If mixed, choose "Mixed/Other".
   • Birthday: If you don't know the exact date, an estimate is fine! This helps us track life stages.
   • Weight: Current weight helps us with medication and food calculations.
4. Upload a Photo: Pick a cute one! This will be their avatar across the app.
5. Save: Click "Create Profile" and you're done!

Pro Tip: You can update this information anytime by clicking the "Edit" button on your pet's profile card.
